The Good Year :)

Time and again one of my close friends and I shared this thought that helped us deal with challenges both big and small- This is a good year and only good things will happen this year--much like Chanchad's philosophy of 'Aal iz Well.'It sure has been a fool proof philosophy, so far so good.
Moreover, I began this year with a resolution to think blissfully, to visualize great things into my life and those around me. Those who know me well are witness to the things this made possible. With folded hands I pray to God that may this good year be followed by better years for each one of us. Over to another year of blissful thinking....Happy New(Even better)Year :)
Amen

TAKING CHANCES :)

To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself.
~Soren Kierkegaard

I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it. ~Pablo Picasso

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
~John Ronald Reuel Tolkien

They say there is nothing more dangerous than an animal cornered. With the fear of death looming over it's head, making a last ditch effort to live....it has nothing to lose. Similarly in the darkest of times in our lives, when we know that the only way things can go now is up, life is often just waiting for us to make a move, the tide is waiting to turn. This is the time when all we have to do is to muster up the courage to take that one chance. To silence the cacophony in our head...what if doesn't work out....to replace it with the magic of ...what if everything works out?
This year I have learned my lessons in taking chances, lots of courage and lots of focus....so far so good.
Take chances ....you have nothing to lose....except despair.
